Our Ribes

What are ribes? (pronounced rī‑bēz) Ribes are a genus of shrubs including gooseberries and currants of many kinds. G and S Orchards has many varieties of berries and ribes to choose from.

For best storage keep the berries you pick refrigerated. As with all produce, always wash before use.

Currants and Gooseberries are a great source of vitamin C and have lots of antioxidants. Excellent for fresh eating, freezing, canning, cooking, jams, cordials, pies, sauces and drying.
